I use Gametrack to track my stats and decide what part of game needs work ( doesn't narrow it down much) and I created a GR group on it. Feel free to join. You have to go to freegolfinfo.com and click the Gametrack link. The group name is Golf Rewind and the password is golfrewind (original aren't I)
feel free to join anytime you like.
Moderators if this post is out of line feel free to delete it and I will erase the group on Gametrack as well
I looked into it, but I couldn't get past login page. I take it I have to register to get access? I'll give it another look tonight.
To clarify things, YES, you have to register to join the GameTracker group for GR...Not trying to slam on anyone here, just wanted to try to clear up some problems folks were having trying to join...
Sorry guys. I forgot to check the post. Yep you do have to register. And the stats do sometimes make depressing reading. I do use to help decide which part of game to practice on.
Thanks kiwidave, I like that place... I play pretty much everyday, and I keep record of all that stuff on my scorecard, but I haven't ever kept track of it over a long period of time. I've been playing better than usual this week so the stats are a bit on the good side so far, but it will be interesting to see what my stats are in a month after 20-30 rounds...
The only problem I have is at my course there are 3 drivable par 4's, so I don't know what to put for fairway hit? I was pin high in a greenside bunker in one today, I guess that's a missed fairway... It's not really a sand save either, or is it? I didn't get up and down but I did make par...
My software is also available for this. It's in beta now. Please check it out if you are interested. If you need the software to do something that it is not currently doing just request it. I use it all the time.
I have never used GameTrack or any other golf software. I want to keep my software original.
I can generate stats for multiple rounds based on criteria (date range, course, tournament, tees, # of holes, etc.). I can compare a period of time to another to see where I am improving or getting worse. I can also include stats from other players to compare how I play with how other people play. This can be very informative.
