Am I the ONLY ONE who can read lips?

Was anyone else able to read Tiger's lips when he clearly said, "Put it in, Chris," on 18 just before Dimarco set up to make the putt that put him into the playoff? My friends and I were all screaming at the TV hoping that one of the announcers would point this out. To my knowledge, no one in the media has asked Tiger what he said and why he said it. I did see an article on the web where the reporter asked Dimarco what Tiger said to him. The reporter said that it was clear that he DID say something. Dimarco said he couldn't remember but that Tiger said, "nice match play," to him after the second play on 18.

Also - if you missed what Tiger said on 18, you could not have missed him
clearly mouthing the words, "It worked!" after the miracle chip on 16. Anyone out there who can back me and my friends up on this? We're not lip readers but we've watched the tape at least 10 times and it's there. I don't know why the media has ignored it.

I also saw Tiger say, "Put it in, Chris." But honestly wasn't paying attention for the rest of it.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that it was not reported anywhere. I think it's extraordinary that he woud say ANYTHING at a time like that. I've never seen it before. I would be curious to know if he said it to Dimarco because he did not want to win the tournament on a bogey. And on the "It worked" remark on 16, I'd be curious to know if he said it to his caddy because his caddy suggested that particular line of attack. After all, he could have putted or tried to fly the ball to the hole.

I am not clear why it matters what, if anything, TW said in these cases. I imagine it's quite common for players to talk during rounds, either to themselves, their caddies or to other players, without it being disruptive. I often say something encouraging to my playing partners during a round.
