Two eagle tries today!!
I don't know what's gotten into me but I'm driving the ball about 25 yards farther than before (warm weather with firmer fairways and improved swing). My avg drives are into 260-270 range and today I reached both of my home courses par 5 in two. Walked away with a birdie and par (3 putt). Now if only I could putt.

Only two eagle tries? Man, I had 18. None of them were really close, but on every hole I had a shot at it

I once had a shot at an eagle, but I don't think the U.S. Government takes to kindly to the eradication of our National Bird...Sorry, blame my lame joke on keith's previous post!

Actually, in my playing group we had another guy who had an eagle putt which he missed. He drove a short par 4 (300) to the green. My whole golf experience up to now has been in the winter so I had no idea what firm fairways can do .
