Just curious how many of you guys prefer teeing it up towards one end of the teebox on drives and what ball flight you play from there. I know conventional wisdom is that with fades, you tee on the right side and with draws, you tee on the left side. Personally, I'm hitting a fade with my driver now and if I tee up on the right side, I have a tendency to aim left which make my fades turn into slices. So usually I just tee on the left side and play a gentle fade.
It depends on the hole and the position I want to leave myself for my approach, generally favor the right side though if the hole is straight away with no hazards in front of the green.
I usually tee it up on the side of the hazard, or on the side i dont want to be. I read once that it helps you align yourself away from the mess, so I just started doing it ever since.

That's my preference, too. If no hazard and it's a straight drive, I'll tee up in the middle.
I tee it up on the left side so I have more room to play my right to left drives that I tend to hit. This does get me in trouble when I aim right, expecting it to come back, and then it balloons hi and way right
the courses I play, I like to tee it up on the flat side.
Haha tonyg. There must be something about some courses in Indiana. There's a course I play were you can have a uphill, a sidehill, and a sidehill lie on different tees.
Most of the time I'll tee up on the side that a hazard is on, or the side that's opposite of a dogleg. If neither is on a hole I'll go for the middle...
Depends on what's out there will tee up on right or left to avoid trouble if fairways are wide will tee up in center.
Agreed. If there's trouble on the right, I'd tee it on the right and aim left away from the trouble. Tee it on the left side if there's trouble on the left. Another general rule is if you play a fade, tee the ball on the right side of the box and if you play a draw, tee it on the left side. This gives you more fairway to work with.
Different spots for different holes, looking for the angle that best suits my shot shape. If I can I will tee up on the left, aim left, giving most room for error with my fade. Other holes it sets up best to tee up on the right. On par 3's I'm looking for the freshest bit of turf to stand on.
