It happened

Much much earlier than I anticipated much less. Broke 90 with an 89 after hitting a 97 yesterday. Conditions were much more better today than they were yesterday. Yesterday from 10am to the end of the round winds were up around 20-35kts. . . so that was fun. Today, very relaxing day on the course, and sure enough, everything stuck together enough for me to break 90.

Was not expecting myself to do this until August or September. Will be back Monday and Tuesday to see how much lower I can go. Hope the weather stays good.

Sorry to toot my own horn . . . im back to the corner now.

Congratulations. You will see your scores drop quickly into the 80's now that that mental barrier has been overcome. The next frontier is 80...good luck. The KEY to going from breaking 90 to breaking 80 is SHORT GAME.

Congrats

Confidence breeds better scoring. Just don't get discouraged if you suffer a minor setback.

Nice wet blanket, dante

Never mind dante there surreal.....he's just being a curmudgeon! Congrats on reaching a milestone that the majority of the world's golfers never reach.

Congratulations on breaking through what can be a mental barrier. You are likely to be more relaxed during the next low round. You will be playing in previously charted waters.

Great Round,
Jeff

League is dogging me for calling him a curmudgeon.
If I am going to play for the OG's don't I have to start being a crank? Saying bah all the time and starting stories with- back in my day....

Good job on breaking 90, never look back. Back in my day when a fella broke 90 we would take him to a gin mill and get him skunked on rye.
