Congrats! I couldn't imagine not being able to play golf at all for 4-5 months at a time...The scoring will come, just glad you're able to get out there and hit 'em!

Congrats on finally getting out to play. The time off is certainly a bummer but the feeling you get when you're on the first tee ready to hit that first shot of the year is like no other in golf. Southerners will never understand that feeling....it makes those first few poor rounds of the year easier to stomach.

Same here.... I mean 5 days is a big enough break off golf for me let alone 5 months .
I just couldn't live like that lol

Oh, and congrats 4rplay

The scoring will come back, it just takes a little while to shake the rust off...

The longest I went since I picked up the game was 8 months. It was after I failed to make the university team 2 years ago, I had also just started college and I didn't have a Hawaii ID so golf was very expensive. I can't hardly afford to live in Hawaii much less pay $100 for a round. And then summer came back around and I found the best deal on the island, on average I pay less than $5 a round...it's $85 a month. My addiction came back real quick.
