I like morning golf the most.

My favorite season to play is fall....and it seems like the only one we consistently get around here.... My favorite time of day to play is in the evening.

My favorite season to play during is middle to late spring. I haven't been burnt out on golf yet. The weather shouldn't be hot like summer and shouldn't be cold anymore. Now, for time of day, I prefer playing in the late afternoon of early evenings.

The mornings when the weather is hot but as for time of year - fall - when the scrub oak is orange and the aspens are yellow, it's hard to keep your eye on the course.

Lefty47 - I'm with you. Morning tee times, around 8:00 - 9:00.

As far as the seasons in order of preference: Spring, Fall, Summer.

The only drawback with the Fall is leaves on the course, especially where I hit em.

I"m a fan of the late afternoon, and to end my day with sunset on the 18th hole. The major reason I play late is to avoid CROWDS. MOst courses in my area are simply too crowded to play earlier, and I find it much more relaxing at the end of the day.

I'm a morning guy--8 to 9 a.m. and the time of year matters not one bit, except the temperatures must be above 40--or 50-something in the wind.

I like early afternoons, during the week, before the leagues. It's really the only time I play. I like evenings too... right up until sundown, but now that the leagues are getting started that's impossible. Anything but early mornings. I'm not a morning person.

I like being the first group off at twilight rates. Sometime between 2:00-3:00pm People don't like to pay full price when they can pay less than half price if they wait until twilight rates kick in so it's usually open for a few holes in front and we can play pretty fast.
I like early mornings too, when i first moved to Hawaii I used to get up at 5:00 so I could be the first group off at 6:30.

Afternoon in the summer.... I hate playing on winter mornings!

I used to play evenings, but now I love the morning tee time. I can play 18 and be home early.

Or in my case, Can go out for another 18 :p

On weekends, it is early mornings for me. Usually between 6:30 and 7:00. That is the only way around here to get in a round that is less than 4 hr 30 min.

When I get the rare opportunity, I like playing on Friday night after work. I do like sunset golf.

I like playing in the morning at 9:30 because i get some time to eat and warm up but I love trying to cram 18 holes in at night just before it becomes dark.
