Blisters

How do you prevent blisters(besides gloves), how do you treat them to make them heal fastest, and am I doing something wrong if i get 2-4 every couple of weeks. (If a blister pops do u cut off the excess skin)???

Wear tape when you practice.

Cut of the excess skin and try superglue or paint on band aid to help healing.

Most important - get your grip checked by a professional. If you are gripping it correctly with the right pressure you should be able to hit thousands of balls without developing blisters. A ridge of callous is what most PGA tour players have.

When I replaced a FootJoy Sta-Sof glove with a Wilson glove once, I found that the new glove actually caused a blister on my right hand where a seam continually rubbed against the bare right hand. Thus, a glove may actually cause blisters!

Perhaps your grip is too firm or the grips on your clubs are too rough for your hands. Not all grips provide the same amount of abrasiveness, you know. I personally prefer a "softer" grip and have not noticed any increased propensity to "lose" my grip on the club.
