Be happy....like most things it take a little time to figure out how tournaments are run. Once you get used to them then focus on your play. If you get upset on your first one you may not play in another.

I will try to, and i probably will. But what i know i will struggle to do is i will try so hard not to get in any ones way, and i will try so hard to abide by the rules and etiquette, it will scare me. For example, i know the longest away from the pin plays first but i will start worrying whether it is me or someone else.
I am now a full member of my club, so when i get a handicap i hope to play in my first tournament.

by the time you play your first tourney and you're still not sure of etiquette, just mention it to the player's that are in your group. Just try not to step in someone's line of putt on the green, some get pretty touchy about this. Don't stand behind someone when they are putting or playing a stroke, but most of all, just be yourself and have a good time. Most ppl understand if you explain your situation and are accommodating. Good luck
