... functionall (smooth and powerful). Not my observation but this is what Im told.

I've never had any lessons, but people I play with tell me my swing is 'textbook' or 'beautiful'
I just wish the results would be that way

Unpredictable. I go by the whatever works - or whatever is closest to working. I have yet to get a lesson, but that will wait until this next self-critique becomes insufficient. Wait, maybe the problem is this instead...

I think my swing is pretty functional considering I've never had a lesson or any other formal teaching. Ask about course management and proper decision making... that falls into the ugly category

Ugly but effective. I gave up trying to be textbook. Don't have the time to practice enough to make it look good. I've played better because of it.

When I play a good shot I often joke that its not because I got things right but because all my faults have somehow aligned themselves to counteract one another on that swing
