Golf Rewind Summer Golf Vacation Service

Well, it is that time of year again when many of us take vacations. I thought this thread could be useful and even be made into a sticky for the summer.

This thread is to serve as a help to those traveling and playing golf where they are not familiar with the local courses, sites, or desire to play with some fellow GR's. Here we can state where we are traveling to and ask for any course recommendations or ask for a player to fill in the foursome.

For me, I will be traveling to Whitefish, Montana for several days in August and it will include playing golf. I have never been to this part of the state so any heads up would be great. I will also be heading to Spokane, Washington but I am quite familiar with courses in this area.

And if you are heading to Utah and need some course info or playing partners, let me know.

Whitefish, Montana - recommendations and playing partners
Spokane, Washington - Possible playing partners.

Spokane has some of the nicest municipal courses I have ever played. If you ever are in the area, make sure you get out to Indian Canyon or The Creek at Qualchan. You will not be disappointed

If any of you are traveling to Alabama there are a number of great courses in the state, Limestone Springs is listed as 64 of the 100 best course in the US for 2005-2006 www.limestonesprings.com another great course to open in September of 2005 Ross Bridge (part of th Rober Trent Jones Courses) is http://www.rossbridgeresort.com/ and then there are the Robert Trent Jones courses in Pratville, Al that the Nationwide Tour is played each fall. There are a number of really great courses in the State of Alabama, and one other thing you can play just about anytime of the year.

Here is a link to the RTJ courses http://www.bigeasygolf.com/Alabama/r...jonestrail.htm

I will be going to to North Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove Area) July 20-27. I am looking for some relatively cheap courses, as I intend to play most every day. Thanks for all the responses.
