Taking a week or so

I hurt my neck a few days ago I guess sleeping on it wrong or something and I've not been able to do much of anything. Although I did try to play golf the other day and even hurt it more

Anyway, it looks as though I'm going to at least have to take a week off from golf, maybe a week and a half. Its starting to feel better now, but definitely not back to normal and I don't want to play on it just yet and risk injury again. The thing is we are going on our normal family vacation to Myrtle Beach on July 1st, so I want to be better by then. The only thing I hate about it is taking that week or so off before I get to play the courses at Myrtle. I know taking a week off really shouldn't hurt my game, but I just can't get over the fact that my brain thinks if I don't hit balls, chip, putt, or work on some aspect of my game every day or at least every other day I feel like my game goes south.

What do you all think about taking a week/week and a half off from golf? Help or hurt you game?

i toook 2 weeks off for my back and after 2 rounds i was back to normal, otherwise you'll just injure more severly, won't let heal (much like my back )

Takeing time off always seems to help my game. Maybe get yourself some putting practice in the mean time. That shouldnt tax your back too much.

When I stop three putting that always seems to help my game also.

I would have done this but it hurt my neck even more to bend over like that to putt. So I've really been going nuts that I could not work on any aspect of my game!
