How many rounds so far this year?

How many rounds have you played this year?
As a Northeasterner, my playing time is limited but I have had a decent year so far. 40 rounds as of today and my handicap has dropped to a 6.

I will be getting in two rounds this weekend hopefully which will bring my summer total to about 7. Wish it was more but been incredibly busy.

I'm only at about 1/2 the number of normal rounds...say about 7 or so this year...been a bad year for the wife and I financially with things that have come up...I hope next year is better for us, else I'm gonna lose it...love my golfing...

Over the past year I have been fortunate enough to play more golf than any previous time in my life. We're lucky to have a 12 month season down here and I have played 54 rounds YTD 2005. I have also been able to improve my handicap by 5 strokes since the beginning of the year. The next 5 probably won't come off quite as quickly but I'm working on it.

golf-a-holic,
Keep your head up. I hope things get better in your world and you are able to enjoy this great past time more than you are currently.

Later,
Jeff

I don't really keep track, but I would say somewhere around 60 rounds so far.

I haven't kept track either, but I'm well over 100 by now... I'm really lucky to be able to play 15-20 rounds a month all year long since I spend most of my time in Hawaii.

I have played 17 official rounds that I have posted toward my handicap, about 5 rounds that were less then the full 18 holes, 7 nine hole rounds and played in 3 outings. Not a bad year for me considering. I have played more this year then the past 5 combined, I'm glad I got back into golf :nodsmiley

I haven't kept track either, but if we're talking total times I've played....probably 40-50. Complete 18 hole rounds...maybe 25-30.

When I get home, I'm showing this thread to my wife. Since around May, I've played about 7 or 8 times. So compared to everyone else on this thread I'm an absolute piker when it comes to rounds played. But then again, I took up the game again around May after a two year layoff so I've spent the vast majority of my golfing time on the range.

But I'm playing 4 times in the next three days. So there's that.

I have been intermittently using Fore's Golf Domain program. I have to get a year's membership because it is a great way to track your game.
I use a simple handicap tracking program for all my rounds and have used Golf domain a few times as well. I like to keep my stats and see how I improve or go backwards.
