Wish I HAD The Golf Channel to criticize and scrutinize. I'm lucky to catch an hour of PGA once a month.

I understand not having the Golf Channel, but why so little PGA watching?

Work, golf, and not knowing the schedule. That limits it greatly. 24/7 golf on TV would be great!

I thought so at first too..........but you can only watch so many infomercials and Golf Central reruns. And don't even start with the Big Break reruns!

I love watching those guys play that course, I still chuckle about the " match " our foursome played at Carnoustie on a lovely late September day a few years ago. I was the guy with the highest handicap ( nine ) this was my fourth round on this great links course and was really looking forward to combining my " skills " with my brother against our two opponents'. We teed off in a light breeze, no problem, by the fourth hole it started to blow hard off the sea, forget it, we are all " toast " there was no more precision golf shots played, simply " hit and hope " the wind would grab your Titelist and deposit it in deep, skin removing gorse bushes, gone forever. The low gross score in our foursome was 91 ( well played sir ! ) but we comforted ourselves in the plush lounge afterwards with some fine malt whisky. I would love to see how these guys would play if the wind really howled as it can at Carnoustie Links.

I really enjoyed the BBII, and the third was o.k. but I am yet to stay awake through a entire episode. I think this go around is BOREING! The only good scene in it so far is the guy from the England team shanking one off the tee into the weeds. Makes me not feel so bad about some of my shots.
