Pinehurst area course recommendations?
I'm planning a Thanksgiving week getaway to the Pinehurst area. I'm planning to play Woodlake (nearby) and National Golf Club.

Any recommendations on courses to play (yea, I know.. Pinehurst #2 ...but too pricey for me), which of the other Pinehurst courses would you play first?

Or other courses... I like going over water or island greens....it's fun. Also prefer curvacious greens as opposed to flat pancakes.
