Question Masters Tickets?

I sent in my entry for the lottery for the '06 Masters practice round tickets, but I haven't heard back... I thought it was the end of September that they pulled the lucky winners, but I can't recall. Has anyone heard back?

Any Patrons here other than myself? I'd love to meet up this year. I'm usually there for the Thurs and Fri. and let the guys I play with use the Sat and Sun.
This will be my sixth year! Here is a photo of my tickets from the first 5 years.

Guitar pick is a Dunlop Tortex 1.14 mil that I drill out . (better grip) I took that photo about 6 months ago and can't remember why it's there.

I became a Patron in 2001. That year the Masters Tournament decided that they needed additional Patrons. They had a lottery to pick the new folks out. Now here is the surprize. I never even knew I had been entered. What they did was take names of golfers who had applied for practice rounds tickets the previous year (might have been 2 previous years) and entered them in a draw.

I was one of the fortunate winners. The best thing about this win???? Taking different folks down each year. I usually save the Thurs. and Friday for myself and either a family member or good friend. For the Sat. and Sunday I share them with my usual group of golf buddies that I have played with over the years. About 25 guys and a couple of ladies. I've promised them that they all will get down to see the Masters over the next few years. I'm doing it alphabetically.

I took my sister this year and will probably take her again next year because with the weather this year I doubt we saw more that 6 hours of golf. She loved it though! We had a blast!!!

As a golf pro I'm sure that you can get in any day. Call the club. Greens Superintendants can too. We met a fellow 3 years ago who always sits where we do at the 4th tee. It's cool to see the same folks each year.

I'd be glad to meet up with you on the Thurs. or Fri.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn in Aiken S.C. (The one in town not the one on the hiway) It's about 15 minutes away.

PM me.

It takes us about 2 hours from doorstep to security gate. One of the benefits of PGA Membership is the tournament access. One year I went to Sawgrass, 3 days of The Masters, The Heritage and The Legends...although usually I am satisfied to go on Wednesday to The Masters and then several days at The Heritage.

How did you get so lucky? Did you enter a lottery style drawing or just submit a ticket request to Augusta National?
