This is for everyone....Just wondering what the average cost of 18 holes with a cart is in the area that you live (in or outside of the US).
I would say the average in Upstate NY is about:
$33.00 /18, with a cart per person
Depends where you play of course. Some local courses will run between $35-40 each. When you go to some higher end courses the cost increases drastically.
Here, in southeast Michigan, the average cost of a round on an average public course is $25-40 to walk and add $20.00 to ride. There are many "upscale" public courses and they range from $50-85 per round (most require a cart). Week-ends are usually $10 more everywhere, but you often can find week-day deals for slightly less.
In Hawaii, there are two sets of prices. There are those for Hawaii residents and then another set of prices for nonresidents. The municipal courses for residents are about $20 - $24 with a cart. For nonresidents, it's around $40 - $50 I believe. Then there's the semi-private courses that are about $50 - $80 for residents and $80 - $150 for nonresidents.
That's for Oahu. If you go on the outer islands and play on courses like Kapalua (Mercedes Championship), greens fees are more expensive.
If I pay the price for a Hawaiian vacation (big $$$$$).....the cost of a round of golf at a course I only see on TV, in frozen January, isn't going to bother me much! Besides, as our host I would expect some sort of "hospitality" from you when I got there! LOL
Here in Central KY, the cost is anywhere from 25 -45 dollars with cart on the weekend and cheaper during the week. Some pretty good courses for the prices. I don't know if I could play regularly with some of the prices I have seen in different states. A good course here in KY is www.oldsilo.com.

Leaguegolf - southeast Michigan - does that include the Ann Arbor area? I'm visiting my daughter, son-in-law and new grandson for a week in late June, and was thinking of taking my clubs. Any suggestions.
The average round in southern RI is in the neighborhood of $35 to $40. Being a poor college student, I normally am only able to play nine holes. However, there is one diamond in the rough in the town next to me that costs a mere $20 for a full 18. The course is in **** good condition too, and it's only an additional $6 for the cart.

I'm in Los Angeles, CA and the average round with cart is around $45/$50.00. But there is a discount golf company that is nationwide that I use. It saves me cash everytime I play. If you're interested www.theclubcard.com
The average here in Central Arkansas is about $25 for 18 w/ a cart. There's roughly 15 courses within 30 minutes of my house and all of them are less than $35.
Cardiff in Wales (UK) has quite a few 18 hole courses with a few having x2 18 holes on them. Prices are pretty similar for the courses that non member can play on:
Prices are usualy £20/£25 per person Green Fee and a Cart will usualy be £18
If you want to go up in class like to Celtic Manor which is hosting the 2010 Ryder Cup. Its double the above
