OC National

I stayed with some relatives for the New Year and got the chance to play Orange County National, where they played Q skool this year. Nice course, the guys I was paired with wanted to play the white tees(Tour) and it was VERY VERY difficult, If I could put a drive in the fairway I would've done decent but jeez 200+ yds to the fairway plus it was windy.....

Played the 622yd. par 5 INTO the 20-30mph wind!!! Whew what a hole, needless to say I double bogeyed it but it was fun

Also played Palm Beach National nice course, I liked the range setup they had....But now that Im home and I cant play anymore, it just fueled my fire and now I want to go play really bad but I cant, actually its been in the 50s so maybe I could.

Anyone else played these courses? BTW

I LOVE FLORIDA!

Well, it's too bad you're not officially allowed to move down here until you are at least 60, unable to drive without your turn signal on, and ready to eat dinner at 4:30 pm. Until then, you may visit often, spend lots of money, and look forward to your old age!

I play OC National once a month or so. I usually switch between Crooked Cat and Panther Lake. Both are Fantastic courses. I'm glad you had a good time.

Well I played panther lake....

Does duffing the ball down the fairway all day qualify me for anything??

BTW I love the GPS thingy they have its quite useful, I now know my exact full swing distance of my 55* wedge which I hit from 78yds and I put it to about 3 feet from that distance 3 times....im quite proud....

And I carried my 3 wood 246yds off the tee once that day! Im proud of that too!

Jr40infla, what tees do you normally play from? I wont be playin from the Tour tees next time. And whats the lowest score you've got on that long par 5? I doubled it

I usually play the blues, but it all depends on my playing partners. I played Panther 3 weeks ago on a pretty chilly day, shot 75. Definitly one of my better days.
