Never framed a scorecard. That day'll come when i shoot the 59...
Still got the ball from my only legitimate eagle sitting in my bag... i'm afraid to use it, in case i lose it.
If you ask why i say "legitimate eagle", the fact is that i have gotten two. One of them (the first) was a complete fluke, where the ball bounced about 360 yards down the cart path (short par 5, 420 from the white tees- which i was playing at the time) - i hit the 60 yd approach to about a foot, then sunk the putt. It was a very nice approach, but it would've never happened without that big strip of pavement running down the side.
The second (legit one) was another short par 5 (about 430 from blues) where i hit an excellent 2 wood down the middle, then hit 3 iron to 12 feet, and holed the putt. That is the one i still have the ball from.
I want to play this course where par 5s arent more that 430. Eagle here i come
I have one scorecard in a box with a piece of plastic that looks somewhat like a picture frame. A memory box type thing. I have my first sub-90 round (86) in it.
I've never framed a scorecard but I have "scores" of them tucked away with my other golf paraphernalia. Scorecards that include a memorable group, (yes wazmankg.....I still have "those" scorecards ) a significant accomplishment, or mean something special to me get dated, attested and filed away. My two most prized scorecards are my first 9 hole outing with my son and the first time I broke 70.....in that order.
I have the card from the first time I broke 80 and my first Eagle ball.I wish I had kept my first Birdie ball but I will always remember the hole T to Green.

That's swell Leaguegolf. Well I still have the one from the first time we played ... for rebuttal purposes..

Rebuttal?: You've misunderstood my intent. I've kept those cards because they fit into my "memorable group" category, not because anyone would be ashamed of a score.
I have 2 cards framed, both are hole in ones. Got the cards and the
ball framed together. I have all the cards from both Scotland trips
in a folder with all the pictures, tees, ball markers, pencils, etc. Got them
scanned and saved to disk on my computer too. Cards range from 76 at the Old
Course to a solid 90 at Carnoustie in the wind. Just the fact that I have been there means everything, not the scores.
I have framed only 1 card which is my first sub-par round ahot on my first father's day as a new father(68 on par 72). As for my other cards and yardage guides from famous courses or tournaments I keep them in a box for future reference and daydreaming of going back.
I've got 2 frames score cards. My 1st ever 18 holes when I was 10 which was a 129.
And the other was when I was 16, playing in a junior county game with Justin Rose. At the time I had no idea who he'd go on to be, but that day we both shot a 68 at Wentworth, he went on to beat me on the 20th hole by dropping a 50 foot putt lol. I framed the card the next day due to being proud of a 68 at Wentworth. Then when he appeared a few years later to come 3rd in The Open I couldn't believe my eyes.
I have a notebook in which I record rounds played with scores and comments, lesson and practice session results, and swing thoughts. Score cards from particularly memorable rounds get stuffed into this notebook at the appropriate page.
I've saved (too) many scorecards, but haven't framed any of them....I suppose if I had the chance to play one of the classic courses, I probably would. That or maybe the first time I break 70, should it ever happen.
