Golf Courses OPEN THIS WEEKEND!!!

Just got an email from a club up near me (in New York) saying they are OPEN this weekend!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if I freeze my butt off (supposed to be in the 40's or 50's), I'm going out this weekend. Just standing on a tee box again or in a fairway is going to be so liberating. Can't WAIT!

Congrats...as someone who managed to sneak out for an odd January round last week, it's certainly a thrill to get that first round of the new year in. It is especially so when it's at a time when you normally wouldn't be able to play. Have a great round.

Go for it, Maniac. Down here in Nashville we have roller coaster winter weather. Today, it'll hit 64 (20* above normal) with 30 mph gusts. Most Saturdays we're teeing it up in 38 - 40 * ... but it is golf. Between thermals, rain gloves, and rain suits...it gets tolerable!

Weather here in Jersey is supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow and Saturday. If I can get a few hours off tomorrow afternoon, Friday, I'm gonna try and get 9 holes in.
Crazy weather.

Cough! Cough! Hack, Wheeze.......Don't you feel like you're coming down with something that would keep you away from work at least half a day?

You all should move to the west coast. I'm not bragging, but I played golf on the first day of winter in shorts! And I was sweating! And the sun is out today and its about 70. But you would have to deal with **** traffic. That tends to ruin your day.
