Too Cold!

Ok it has finally happened. It has gotten too cold here in Arkansas to play golf. We are actually going to get about 1 inch of snow today. I think this is all an evil plot from northern golfer....League being the king pin...to keep us southern guys down.

Wah, wah, wah... What you call "too cold" we Northerners call an inconvenience. Arkansas golfers are wimps! Call Grandma, maybe she'll knit you a sweater to keep you warm. Would you like a cup of hot cocoa with those little girlie-man marshmellows to go with the sweater?

We are looking forward to March 15th when the course opens, and hopefully no frost and a temp of 38 degrees or above. (Montana)

Scott-

Please keep it in Arkansas...they tell us 2 to 4" in Nashville. I'm getting used to this 38* golf...but I do want to find my ball.

Hey I like the little marshmallows. And play golf in a sweater! We play in shorts and flip flops year round. What I love is the northern golfers whining about a little bit if heat and humidity....not to mention the very long golf season we have down. But I understand that old guys can’t take the heat down here very well and they enjoy the cold.

Who's whining about heat and humidity? From what I hear, your courses are empty when it gets a little too warm for your spoiled selves...up here, we play in heat, cold, rain, sleet, thunder, whatever...gotta get it in when we can! Whiners.

It is so cold here in L.A. When I woke up, it was at 68 and now that its noon it is about 87. ****winters! I hope I will be able to play this weekend. It's gonna be about 89 with a bit of wind. I hope the wind chill factor doesnt affect my play. I'll probably have to wear longer shorts. JK!

Sorry to joke on yall. If it's any consolation, my allergies are killing me and the traffic ****! It took me an hour and fifteen minutes yesterday to drive home! 25 miles!

Pfft, if you were Jack Bauer from 24 you'd have gotten home in 10 minutes.

Please keep that windchill up there please. Had to cancel my practice plans today. It was chilly today. Said 69* out there. I'm not going out in that cold stuff. I'll wait till it gets back to the 70's at least!! BRRRRR.

You haven't heard me complain about a little heat and humidity. Golf is golf....except to those that can't play in anything but "shorts and flip flops." Let's put it this way......I'll play a lot better in your heat and humidity that you'll play in my cold.

And you probably like the little pink marshmellows best!

I shovel my snow. I hear it is hard to shovel a mudslide, or an earthquake, or a brush fire, or smog, or a drought. come to think of it, Cally is almost biblical with it's plagues.
