You just need to find out what mini-tour is in your area. I'm sure someone on here will know the answer.

In northwest Florida there is the Gulfcoast Scratch Tour, which you can find in by searching Southerngolf. It's all amateur and the competition is good. Former players include PGA Tour members: Heath Slocum, Bubba Watson and Boo Weekly. The same source has information on The Emerald Coast Senior Scratch Series, the oldest senior amateur series in the US. They each have 12 to 14 events throughout the year. The tournaments are mostly 36 holes with a 54 hole season ending event and usually a "Challenge Match" or two in the fall. I've played on both over the past 14 years and they are well run. There are also amateur scratch play organizations based out of Mobile and Birmingham, AL, but I don't have contact info.
