Arrow Hole in one

Hey yall

Post your hole in one stories in this thread. If you remember then put the ball you were using, type of club, etc. I have not gotten a hole in one yet but just thought this would be a neat post.

Wish I had one too. I've only seen one in person, and that was 16 years ago.

We're in the same boat mcgwire40. I've yet to get a hole in one. I'm trying very hard to get one but I just can't get one. I'm sure it will come sometime soon.

I have had two so far. My first was about five years ago at Eaglewood in Utah. It was on the 8th hole. This is a 159 yard par 3 with a tee that is much higher than the green. You can usually have a good look at the flag from the tee.

I hit a 9 iron really well. I even held the pose which was rare. I was with a foursome. We all watched it head toward the green (took a while), hit about 10 feet in front of the pin on the middle of a downslope, check up, then trickle into the hole! It was an awesome first hole-in-one!

I lost the ball on the next shot off the tee and got an 8 on the 9th par 5.

The second hole-in-one was a couple of years later during an annual company tournament. It was a shorter hole (playing the white tees) at Mount Ogden. I hit a PW well. It was one of the few good swings for me for the day. The green was above the tee, so we couldn't see the bottom of the flag. When I got to the green I thought my ball was the one a few feet away. That one ended up being Stacy's (great shot). We looked around for a while until I found mine in the hole!

To make things even better, we ended up tying for 2nd and picked our hole-in-one hole in the drawing playoff (18:1 odds)!

Never had one, never seen one. Closest i've been was a 159 yard par 3, I hit a 7i that bounced about 3 feet in front of the hole and hit the pin about 6 inches above the cup and rolled about a foot away.

No hole in one for me but...

I do have a Double Eagle... Snuck out of work with my buddy and we were golfing in our sneakers and drinking a couple of Zima's with a twist (yeah way back when). Was a par 5 and smoked my drive, then roped my 2 iron with a lil fade to a blind back right pin. We both knew I was there but didnt know I holed it out until we actually got there. I still have the ball which by the way is a Wilson Balata (yeah way back when).

A couple days ago the guy behind my group had a hole-in-one. We were waiting on the tee-box, which is right next to the last green, but I wasn't looking there and the guy came up not knowing where his ball was (bottom of the flag wasn't visible), and then looked in the hole! But nobody saw how it happened... Not my hole-in-one but still, my first time to ever witness one (kinda).

Never had a hole and one but I must be good luck for others. Six golfers have made a hole in one while playing in my group. Consolation: they had to buy the drinks.

Only one unofficial ace for me. It was in June of 2004. I was doing a Beat-The-Pro on the 17th. About halfway thru the outing, I put one in. Everybody around starting going nuts yelling I won the car! I was pretty relaxed and everybody was wondering why I was not more excited. I ended up not getting the car because it was not my first attempt, and I wasn't playing in the outing.
