Masters Practice Round Tickets

After reading some of the posts, it sounds like some of you guys are getting Masters Practice Round tickets thru the lottery fairly often. I've put in my application into the Practice Round lottery every year since they started the lottery and have only been picked once in 12 years. Is there a secret to selecting the days that you want tickets? Is it better to select just one day, or request all three days? Do they select by region, alphabetical order, number of tix requested,....? Help!

Something does not sound right. Before I became a Patron in 2001 we would apply for practice round tickets each year. I'm sure we got them every other year. There was a time as late as 1985 or 1986(Last year) where on the Mon. Tues or Weds you just showed up and bought your ticket at the gate. It was about 10.00.

It is simple - write now to this address and request a form to apply for the practice round lottery:

Masters Tournament Practice Rounds
PO Box 2047
Augusta, GA 30903-2047.

They'll send you information on the ticket lottery. Generally the applications will be mailed to you in June, and if you are selected you will be notified in September, which is when you pay. This year $31 for Mon or Tue, $36 for Wed. Suggestion - apply for 4 for each day, the max allowed. And The4Hornes - once in 12 years might be about right - I have gotten them twice in that time.
