I'd try the Presidio or Harding Park (PGA stop). I tried to play Presidio when I was there last year but did not get a chance.

Don't miss either on I learned to play golf at Harding....Both great tracks especially Harding since they re-did it....Play the Presidio early as it tends to get windy in the afternoon..

If you have access to a car, you can drive over the Golden Gate to Marin and a town called San Geranimo it is also a great course ,one not to miss. Those 3 are a must to play

Pasatiempo in Santa Cruz. About an hour drive from San Fran, but worth it. It is an Allister Mackenzie design.

golfbuzz.com.

for easy local course info. Your not going to find anything in SF other than Harding Park. Tough Tee time, and long rounds following guys in jeans.

I would hit HalfMoon Bay, Cinnebar in San Jose, or Eagle Vines in Napa. Best best all within the hour.

Good luck and let me know if you need a 4th.

poor conditions and management have plagued this course for years. Terrible greens, bad fairways bad service, equal angry customers.
