All in all I struck the ball really well, hit the driver okay but putting was beyond awful! I had 4 putts inside 4 foot that all lipped out.
The shot that I keep thinking about was a "tap in" that I missed. It was no more than 2 ft. I stradled anpother players line and tried to tap it in and it horseshoed right back to me.
This is the second year I have missed match play by one stroke. Kind of depressing but at least I know what to work on.
sorry to hear that,i have missed a few short putts recently and amazingly enough its because that putt has to be aimed to hit back of hole, that way i bypass severe left hand or right hand break, the softer the ball goes towards the hole the more the break effects it,you think a one foot putt aint gonna break, well it does and thats when it lips, fight the break with decent strength, the natural thought is to take it easy and lo and behold the softball catches the break and the lip and you are left with another nailbite shorter

Don't worry about it. Lots of tournys ahead of you. Words I live by (sometimes)- When things get really bad, in the longer haul, it just makes you stronger. Missing the cut twice in a row by one stroke : in the future, you'll be a tough guy to beat just because of knowing what it's like to be on the wrong side of the line. You'll be fine.
