That's the voting box for whether or not a person gets voted as a member. One reject and you're a no go.

Pix of first hole tell a lot about the typical amateur golfer (even members of Augusta Nat'l)...Look at the % of tracks made by carts going to the right rough as opposed to the left...
Thanks for the pics...I would LOVE to be able to see what you got to see. I'm happy just having had the chance to go there 4 or 5 times for the practice rounds...

Sweet! Was that your first time? Do they still pick who plays by a lottery?

It was my first time and I think the only ones who are picked by lottery are the media.

I have a friend that just came back from a vacation from Egypt and he played golf while he was there. (I know, I know. Egypt and Augusta Natl. have absolutely nothing in common but bare with me) While he was playing his caddie told him that #12 green would make for a great photo opportunity because in the background was King Ramsees (sp?) pyramid.

Upon arriving at the 12th green his caddie stuck 2 tees in the side of the cup so that it would hold his ball about halfway out of the cup and he placed his ball on the tees and took his putting stroke and the caddie took his picture. It looks as if my friend is sinking a 25 footer for birdie in frony of the great pyramid!

It would've been a great picture to have if you could've done that on 18 or 12 or any other hole for that matter. It would be a great conversation piece. Oh well, there's always next time! Great pictures BTW! Simp
