Lets talk stance....how does yours measure up?

I have been working very hard lately to rid myself of the dreaded slice. It had gotten considerably better, but it was still lurking, and would show up at the worse time. I was really concentrating on my turn, to be sure I was getting around. Once I got comfortable with that, I began to work on the "inside" swing, and not outside in. I could do it, but I had to really slow down and it didn't feel "right". Finally, I moved a couple of inches closer to the ball, dropped my arms down a little, and it appear to be about 90% better, and it feels better. I believe, I've got it, (a least for a little while), about as good as I can get it....an occasional fade, and an occasional draw, but nothing extreme ( 2 rounds of golf, and 3 range days).

Now for the question:
How far do you stand away from the ball with your driver?

I'm 5'11'', standard club length (45" driver), and I have measured my "new stance" to be 33.5" from the base of the tee, to the toe of my left foot (barefoot), and of course playing the ball about 2" inside my left heel, that 33.5" has a little angle to it.

btw, I found it interesting that I wear a 33" sleeve on a long sleeve dress shirt.
