Anyone a member? They sent me a thing in the mail a little over a week ago and it says its a dollar a month.
I sent in my letter that says i will join, but i have not gotten anything back in over a week, plus on the letter it says must be received in 10 days....
Just wondering if anyones a member and if they could tell me if its a good thing or not.
They say you can get golf rebates and stuff but hopefully i'll get something in the next few days.
i was a couple of years ago. the magazine is good and they sent me a sleeve of noodle golf balls, but after a few months they'll come back and try to up grade you, now it will cost something like $320 per year as a "preferred partner" and who knows what they might send you because i wasn't falling for that.

Yeah i was thinkin that i'd only stay on for a year because it says "1$ a month for a year"
I knew they would try and screw ya.
Thanks, Any more feedback?
Well they got you now.............(10 days ha it could be a 120 they still take your dollar a day) it's a life time of junk mail. I know I fell for their come-on a few years ago........junk mail is now down to a trickle and phone calls have finally stopped (maybe).
Joined at the beginning of this season. Didn't get my promised sleeve of NEW balls, but rather RECONDITIONED balls -- Noodles. LOL....
As if that wasn't enough of an omen... they sent me these DVD's (unsolicited). Didn't know that they were coming. I have no idea what the package is in the mail. COOL! Free instruction DVD's (or so I thought). Once I opened the package (which is designed and packaged in a way that you have no other choice but to destroy the package itself) the letter stated that IF I wanted to keep the DVD's, I would be charged $15. If I didn't want the DVD's, I needed to send them back in the original package and use the paid postage stamp included. Well, that package was basically destroyed. So I had to find a small box, go through the pains to repackage them, and send them back.
Along with that, they send you tons of worthless junk mail.
Four months into my membership, I cancelled. I told them to not worry about the refund, just to never send me anything else and take me off their mailing list.
There's always some new scheme out there to separate you from your money. First, they sucker you in with a "really good deal", then they come back for the killing. Half of my garbage seems to be made up of this type of junk mail.
Use our search (Partners Club) to find other threads discussing the Partners Club. I am a charter member and now a lifetime member (read sucker for the gifts...) and have no issues with the club, though I rarely use it for all it's purposes...

Like I said, JUST SAY NO.
It's not worth it.
It's illegal for anyone to send unsolicited merchandise. You could have kept the video or thrown it away, but unless you agreed ahead of time to receive these items, you have no obligation to pay anything.

That might possibly be true, I honestly have no idea what the agreements were when I first joined.
I took the high road, sent the DVD's back, and had them cancel my membership without refunding my money. The amount was so little that I really didn't care about it -- it was just that I don't care for that type of marketing, not to mention the tons of worthless junk mail I received from them each month.
He was when I joined, Mike. Of course, I really think that he has very little to do with it, kinda like just offering his name out there and allowing the managment to market it.
It's not too bad a deal. I joined last year and I got a bunch of stuff. I did get NEW golf balls, an on course cooler, 12 personalized ball markers and a repair tool, a few bag tags with my name on them, a new golf bag(i don't use it, but it's nice), the videos(which I sent back before I opened them), a duffle bag, a rules book(2 in fact), subscription to the magazine, some test golf balls, discounts to a bunch of courses throughout the country, a calander and a shirt. The first year I think I paid about $12 and this year it'll be around $120. All in all, I think it's a pretty good deal, and it's always fun to get golf stuff in the mail. As yet, I have not had a bad experience with it.
