i went out to play 9 today, and on the front 9 of my par 71 course, i shot a 46 (+10)...now that sounds horrible, but i'm a 27 handicap, so it wasnt really all that bad...i decided i should play the back 9 as well and shot a 40 (+5)! this is the first time i've ever broken 90 and i was really excited, had to share...hopefully the next few rounds will be just as good (but i mean...12 strokes under handicap just isnt normal)...so all in all i just cant believe i shot an 86, and even more unbelievable is that i shot only 5 over on the back 9...(5 bogeys, 4 pars)...anyway, just wanted to tell as many ppl as possible

Congrats on the personal best!! Those rounds where you feel you can do no wrong are AWESOME!! If you are like myself it will be awhile before those come back around. But keep with it and before you know it a mid 80's will be average for yourself... Again good job!!
haha mikey, i know, trust me i'm anything but cocky right now...i am exceedingly happy but im not getting my hopes up...im just gonna keep with the same practice/play regimen and hopefully it'll work out

if you work on your game diligently, especially the chipping and putting, you'll see the 80's often. enjoy your accomplishment.

Congratulations on a fine day of golf. But, please do get your hopes up and keep them there. That, along with practice, play and time will continue to take you to new highs (actually lows, lol) on the course. Enjoy the day for what it was and slowly drift off to sleep tonight with a smile on your face as you replay each good shot you made. It's a long road and it gets a little bumpy but today you did well. Congrats again.
