72 holes 2 days

This weekend is my local clubs blue ribbon event for our spring tourny. 36 holes saturday 36 holes sunday. I've played in it for the last two years and always fall in a heap sunday arvo with about 5-6 holes to go, as its a stroke event it really hinders my chances of winning. I'm a fit individual and always eat and drink plenty on the course. So my question is how do I get through the last bit. Any mental or physical tips will be most helpfull.

i had the same problem in basketball....I would get so tired toward the beggining of 4th quater but what i kept in mind is that I had to do this for coach other wise im running tomorrow lol

Anyways my point is if you could think of someone you had to do this for, and if you didnt you would be letting them down pretty bad, then try that and it might make you push harder to finish it out. Worked for me in basketball maybe it will work for you in golf...
