I need an option for "Both"....off the tee yesterday I had it going right, left, straight...not the model of consistency. Irons were fine, but the driver was a little erratic during yesterday's round. Normally my natural ball flight off the tee is a fade. Irons I can pretty much hit however I need to.

I can hit it both ways as well now. I've been slicing for about 5 years, changed my swing this year and now I am making better contact and can work the ball either way. I did put a Hooker because when I try to hit it straight and get a "bad" shot, I lose it to the right, which for a lefty like me, is a hook.

BTW, my scores have dropped because of this change. At my home course, loosing it to the left is usually OB, and loosing it to the right puts it into an adjacent fairway. Hahaha.

bad shots for me are usually a hook and majority of that is with the woods. otherwise, my general ball flight is a slight draw or straight.

I normally hit a draw, but if a miss-hit a ball it's probably going to be a slice. I couldn't hit my 3 wood straight in the last round...big slice two or three times.

Ummmm...you say far from average, but you didn't say in which direction.

To add to this, Hank Haney said something like, "I've never seen someone go from slicing to good golf. You can go from hooking to good golf, or from slicing to hooking to good golf."

Plus, I think the majority of golfers/slicers are people who start playing the game, and go to the driving range and "warm up" by hitting driver. As hard as they can.

Really thought us slicers would outnumber the hookers.

I put neither. My normal shot is pretty straight, but I can draw or fade it if I need to. BTW I assume the poll is for your normal shot shape. I associate hooks and slices as the banana balls that are the result of a bad swing.

Hooker. Everything straight to slight draw to waaay left. I'll uncork the odd banana ball, but not too often anymore. Usually on the absolute worst hole, you know, like with houses on the right.
