I've found a few in my times on the course, the best had to of been a 56 degree vokey spin milled, which I did keep and used for a while until I was through with it, turned it in to the course, found an odyssey 2 ball also, man people do leave their precious babies on the course dont they

I have never found anything that I didn't return to the owner shortly after...usually on the next hole. The only thing that I kept that I found on the course was a plastic pen hehe. Everybody knows that you need a pencil with an eraser on the golf course.
Someone "found" my new 56 degree Spin Milled Vokey last year. I played a round without it and yes, I needed it on several shots. I was at the driving range just before playing and I know that it was in the bag. After playing, I bought a new 56 and traded in the matching 60 for a different bounce (4). At least I used the wedges all of this year. I usually get new wedges every season, anyway for the new grooves and new models.
I also lost a 690 MB 4 iron and know exactly where...never turned in. So, the 4 iron is newer than the rest of the set.

Yes! I find at least one a month, and I just turn them in to the Clubhouse.
funny story about losing clubs... my buddy has a black finished SW that he took white paint and painted his name on the sole and on the bounce of the club. he left it on the green on the previous hole so we went back to get it and it was gone. we ask the twosome if they'd seen it... knowing they had it. both guys told us "nope haven't seen it". we went ahead and let them play through and we parked out cart behind theres and saw my buddys club in their bag. my buddy goes "wow, that guy has the same last name as me... it's on his wedge" without saying a word the guy takes the wedge out of his bag, leaves it on the cart path and drives off. the look on his face was priceless.
which I did keep and used for a while until I was through with it.
Just out of curiousity, how long do you use it? I've found loads of clubs on the course in the last 10 years, and have never once hit a ball with them. Simple, it's not mine.

I've found several, usually a wedge or a seven iron... guess guys put them down when puttting, and forget them on the way back to the cart. I found a TaylorMade PW nearly brand new, earlier this year, and stuck it in the bag. A guy came driving around frantic about 6 holes later, and I returned it.
My nephew (11 years old) played with me one time, and after the fourth hole, four clubs were missing out of my wife's bag! The four-some behind us was rolling as we waited for them to get to the tee-box.
It stinks being a lefty....because all I ever find are right handed clubs . I mainly find wedges that peeps forget around the green. I'll usually try to ask the group in front, and then just turn it in if it isn't theirs. I know I've lost clubs, never to have found them again, so turning them in to the pro shop is the right thing to do.
I'm never lucky enough to find something like that on the course. Its always something cheap or old. Then again I did find a momentus swing trainer on the 9th hole at my local course. That was a decent find. Other than that it hasn't been much. I just turn them in. Except the momentous. Oopps.
Earlier this summer I found while walking, a 60-degree wedge, then a hole later found a pitching wedge, then two holes later found a 9-iron.
All were of the same make and I wondered when whoever lost them was going to start noticing....lol, I dumped them off at the turn as I guess he never came back to look for them? Strange, I can't see playing without those clubs.
I found a cell phone once and about 30 minutes later it started ringing. I answered it and it was the owner looking for it. I was going to turn it in, but he came out to me and picked it up.

I have lost my cell phone about 5 times...I call and the person who answers always agrees to meet me to return it...restores my faith in in humanity, but I always give the person some cash as well to keep the cycle going...

The above TM PW I found was LH!... but I am a righty, and I would have returned it anyway
