Playing in a Shcramble Tourny this saturday with my bros and father in laws. It differs from a typical scramble. Here how it works:
1. Everyone tees off
2. You take the best first shot
3. All 4 people hit from the first shot
4. You then split into 2 (scramble) teams and finish out for 2 scores


Any thoughts on Strategy? Hears the line up:
1. Father in law: 220 straight, great short game and putter. hits from the whites
2. Bro in law 1 - Great putter, 240 straight
3. Bro in law 2 - Great ball striker..300 crooked
4. Me - 300 crooked bad putter

So who gets stuck with you?

I say you and BIL 1 vs. FIL and BIL 2.

i thought the same thing, 1 and 4(you) and 2 and 3. this way, when you 300 yarders do get one straight, your sitting pretty.

Id say you and your father in law. Reason being is he should be able to consistantly hit in fairway so when you all send em off in the weeds **** be sitting pretty for ya and when you get near the green he can make shots for ya. From the way you described youll need all the help you can get.
