I always position the ball on the tee or on putts so that the ball name and number are facing the face of the club and so that I'm looking down on the umblemished white dimpled surface of the ball.
I also absolutely, positively cannot and will not hit a TopFlite!
The only one i have that i am aware of is whenever i hit a pitch or chip shot i have to lay my putter behind so that the end of the grip is pointing at the flag. I have 8 pitch/chip-ins so far this season so that is a superstition i plan on keeping for a long long time.
Aligning your putter grip toward the hole while hitting an approach shot is a no no in competition.... but a good way to help align your shots in practice rounds. With 8 chip-ins it sure is working for you

The putter is not used as a aid it is behind me (behind as in behind my heels) a few feet i can't even see the putter i just know its back there guiding my shot home.
Here is an old thread I thought might be good.
1. I always mark my ball with a Toonie. Crazy Canadian money. This way I never forget my ball mark, plus it is huge.
2. I always fix all the ball marks I find & through twigs in the trees. (trying to please the golf gods.)
3. I throw a little grass in the air even if there is no wind!
4. I keep a pendant my late grandma gave me in my bag. (She helps me out.)
5. Never throw a club. They (the club) don't like it.
I can't believe I fall in this category, but I tried it again a cpl weeks ago, and sure enough...best score again.
Two dimes in my left pocket. Or two $1 pesos.
As soon as I let someone "borrow" my marker, it started going down hill until that dime was back in my pocket. For some reason I just have to hear the "clink" to settle me.
I also play better when everyone is making as much noise as possible, but it's hard to get strangers in on this one.
White tee's on par 3's and natural color tee's on the rest......no color tee's.
Any lost balls I find, I give away....there's a reason why they are lost.
Let's see...I only use white or natural tees. I mark my ball with an 1898 Standing Liberty Quarter. I never take my glove off unless it is to replace it due to moisture (or the end of the round, of course).
I only have one. I always when going to put my tee in the ground always put it in in one spot, then move it. I never just put my tee in the ground and then swing. But I only move it once, and always once.
I'm pretty superstitious.... especially if I'm playing bad.
Usually I change the brand of the ball I'm playing, take my glove off (if I'm playing bad).... sometimes I even take my watch or my necklace off... and do my hair up differently
