Recently hearing all kinds of talk and publicity about Natalie Gulbis, I looked at her performance record, and from what I see she hasn't won a thing to date. So why all the attention?
And if anyone says LOOKS, I don't buy that. Look at Creamer, Pressle, Pedersen, they look good and actually perform on the tour. So can anyone explain all the Gulbis attention?
How bout b/c she looks good. Why do people talk about Anna K?? She didn't win anything unless she was playing with Martina Hingis in doubles. But both of them look pretty good. It's been gone over & over here, but what has Michelle Wei done? Nothing really, all media driven. Once the media gets behind somebody, things go from there.
You seem to have missed a lot in your search for information on Natalie Gulbis. If you check, you will see that see was in the top 10 on the money list for most of last year. Not bad for a girl that hasn't won any events on tour. And YES, she is better looking than just about any of the women on tour, which doesn't hurt my eyes any. I think she's been a pro for 3 or 4 years now, and if you check the records, I think you can find a lot of golfers on each of the tours that haven't won an event. Some ot them play for 10 years or more and never win. At least Gulbis looks good when she doesnt' win. More than I can say for a lot of the girls that have won.
She's always hangin around the first page of the leaderboard and..... Soooooooo Hot!
want to touch the heiney. ( that's adam sandler's line in case you were wondering )
If you ever get a minute check out her web page.
This thread's closed. Last time I checked, this was a golf forum, not a locker room. Sorry gintonic, but your question's not going to get answered in this one.
*edit*
I'm going to re-open this thread. I think it's apparent that many members here find Natalie Gulbis an attractive female. If you have some other idea to contribute in response to the original posters question, please do so.

It's simply called "marketing". Natalie has just done it better than some of the other young guns on that tour who are not as interested in selling their looks and personality. Her calendars are tasteful, as is the way she carries herself in public. She is a professional, and entitled to attract sponsors and fans to enhance and advance her career. Like Jan Stephenson decades before, Natalie's good looks and friendly personality are great for the tour, brings more viewers to the telecasts, and attracts more money for all of the women on the tour.
Yeah, she's definetely more legit than Anna K. ever was. I think it's just a matter of time before she wins. Her show, however, is a snooze. Is there anything interesting about her besides her looks?
Not a bad player, athough I don't understand her happy gilmore putting style.

She's been a professional for over 6 years now. She's been playing LPGA tour events since she was 14. She just turned 24, so I think shes a bit over-due.
And yes, there are tons of female golfers who have not won in their career. However, I don't believe any of these women have their own show, calendar, advice column, and endorsement deals with Taylor Made Golf, Adidas, Canon, Amstel Light, and Lake Las Vegas Resort.
I think even comparing her to Anna K might be a bit nice. I mean, didn't Anna K atleast win a couple doubles titles?

she just turned 24 a few months ago, either Dec. or Jan.
