Demo day

Well, It's demo day here, even though we are expecting close to a foot of the white stuff tomorrow, arrghh!!!

I'm going to try the mp-60's, the Bridgestne J33's, and the TM TP's, as well as the Titleists and Callaways. They don't have the Srixon I-506's though I seriously like them. Thought I'd try some new drivers, too.

I'll report back!

Well,

The Callaways were awesome-- even the X-Forged, which I expected to be harder to hit. The Taylormade TP's were great as well. The rest were so-so, with one exception: the Titleist 755's. Wow-- they were sweet. High and penetrating flight, very easy on the hands-- real nice.

I was surprised also that I noticed a tendency to fade with the Rifle shafts, vs, the SG300's. Maybe they happened to be a couple of degrees upright. Also, the Nippon shafts I found to be very interesting. Great trajectory.

The Mizzy's I found to be more difficult to dial in (MP-60's) than I expected, and the Pings performed well but didn't feel great. I wish they had the Srixons there but they didn't. Now I'm going to start specing the Titleists and hopefully narrow it down to two brands.

I hit the TP's. DGS300's. I wish they sold the forged TP's here in the states-- but I guess I would have to order them. I know they are available in Japan. Check this out:

Those aren't TP, they are just a forged version of the r7 irons. I've hit them before, higher ball flight than the other TP irons.

I wonder if they have the forged TP's? I don't hink I'd want them otherwise.
