Red face I've seen it all now!

Here is the latest and greatest (?) golf training device:

http://www.flushhitgolf.com/home.html

Has anyone tried it?

Well thats something different. It would drive me crazy trying to hit the ball in the same spot everytime.

The golf channel ran this add originally called by another name which I can't remember but I sent them an e-mail to the effect that it was a piece of junk and only degrades their opinion from decent golfers to even have it on their website and the next day they quit listing it. It is a gimmick driver and I lost some respect for Jay for endorsing it.

regards,
Darrell

Wow, I don't know what to say about that.

I like to just use some athlete's foot spray on my clubs, as the ball makes an imprint in it and lets you know exactly where you are hitting it.

I bet you could figure out how to hit the ball in the correct spot but with a bad swing. Then it wouldn't be of any help!

I just don't understand that anyone would pay 119 dollars (plus s&h) when you could get several lessons for the same price. And like someone else just posted some powder on your clubface will do the same.

Thanks! It really saddened me to think Jay would do that for money but I guess many will do most anything when it comes to the all mighty dollar. You would think that golf professionals in general would be above reproach with the integrity issue. I think it was first advertised as power sphere and it was advertised to increase your distance and make you hit it straight down the fairway. I pointed out to the golf channel that a person could still hit the face centered with an over the top swing or a severe in to out hook swing and still catch the face center but that didn't help the ball go straight or increase distance. I'm sure there were many a person that bought it because Jay said it worked. I noticed them on rockbottomgolf for 30 or 40 bucks it seemed. Now they change the name and try it all over again.

Nothing beats a good swing...that's what I'm really focusing on this year. I don't need a golf training aid, just a lot of patience.
