I’ve been watching him on the golf channel as they are carrying the first 2 days of the Player’s. He’s been using an iron off the tee for position, but it’s definitely not working. He’s missed the fairway each time. Then he will smash a driver down the middle. I don’t get it. He’d better get in gear or he won’t make the cut.
Everybody can have an off day or so...even TW. If he makes the cut, he's still in it.
Tiger's just about the only player out there that can make the cut by 2 strokes, be 9 shots off the lead and considered to be "in contention" by many. I don't think it will happen this week, though. I know, not a bold prediction at all.
He's having an iron control problem this week plus can't get used to the new greens for some reason. Imagine the frustration he's feeling. No 1 and the course is winning this week against him.
Well he shot a 67 on the last day. Good try, but a little too late. He can score this weekend was just not his. It always makes me laugh when folks wonder what's up with Tiger, you know he has to let other people win everyonce in awhile.
