I'm getting ready to head to NY for a golf trip in about 6 weeks and I'd like to find some yardage books for the courses we're playing so that I can be prepared as they are all tough courses. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I might find these. I've looked on Ebay to no avail. I need Bethpage Black, Shinecock Hills and Westchester Country Club. Any suggestions???

they usually sell them at the courses, All the ones i have i've bought them at the course.

You may try looking for the actual country club websites to see if they have available public purchase of them. I was able get them for Bandon dunes....

The Bethpage State Park Golf Pro shop definitely has yardage books for all 5 courses. (when I checked though, they were all out of all except for Black and Red).

IIRC, they were around $10.

I was hoping to find some books well in advance of my rounds so I could study the courses a little bit. Does anyone know a place online that might sell yardage books for courses around the country?

It will probably be tough to find before your round. I'd say eBay would be your best bet. You could also try calling the course and ordering it from them in advance.

A lot of golf course Web sites have copies of their yardage books online.
