I just got a call from the "American Golf Ranking Association" . They guy said since I was a subscriber to Golf Illustrated Magazine, I had been chosen as "one of 50" in my area to be allowed to receive up to $5000 worth of golf equipment for "testing". Of couse, to cover the security on the clubs he would send me, I had to put up a "security" deposit. I hung up the phone. Their phone number area code was 714. I found that the company was located in Irvine, California, which just happens to be the same place Warrior Golf is. I have heard many horror stories about their phone sales scam and their "security deposit" which you go thru heck to get back, even after your return their clubs. Quite a coincidence being in the same small town, isn't it. I wonder if this "new" company is just Warrior Golf's latest tephone sales scam? Any of you guys heard of this company, "American Golf Ranking Association"? I NEVER buy something from someone on the phone, unless I initiate the call. I'll bet a hundred dollar bill this was one of their new scam ploys.

Yep gotta be a scam i had these people call me 3 times in the past and they are in a hurry to get the clubs to you. I also told them to faggitaboutit!

Never got a call from any golf club scam artist. I've heard about a lot of them, though. It's a shame that someone like Golf Illustrated magazine might be selling your information to people like this.
