Was out playing at my homecourse at Losby in Norway yesterday and brough my camera with me. The quality of the pictures isnt all that, mainly because of the camera, but you get the picture(sneaky pun, not intended :) )

Losby consist of two courses, a 18 and a 9 hole course. The pictures are from the 18 hole course with a distance of 6442 meters or 7044 yards.


Add around 10% to get the hole distance in yards.

The starterbooth and practice green.





Hole 1, diving right into a 488 meter Par 5..Thank you Losby!..

Hole 4, 374 meter par 4. I got water on the left of me, bang bang, i got hills to the right of me, bang bang..(got par there yesterday tho :) )

Hole 5, 414 meter par4. Same as hole 4 with additional hills to the left





Hole 5 halfway, around 120 meters in





Hole 6, "nice" 172 meter par 3





Hole 8. 159 meter par 3 with a tad of waterhazard to toy with...Picture is from the green at hole 7. The tee is on the left side, with the tips just outside the picture.





Hole 8 green. Not much green to play around on





Hole 9. Par 4 383 meters.





It is a 18 hole course, but my playing partner got sick halfway through so we walked off at 9, and the sun was getting about to vanish, so the photoquality would go down a few more notches..





Here is the driving range, more than enough length for most players.

Fantastic pictures, and an incredible course. Would love to see the back if you get another chance to snap some.

Oh and that driving range is hilarious... maybe it's just the pic, but it looks quite skinny. I would absolutely hate to be driving the picker out in those trees, and with some of the people who practice around here, there would be a very large number of balls out in those right trees.

The range is actually pretty wide, its just the picture that doesnt do it justice.

Ill bring the camera next time aswell and snap more of the finishing 9 holes, thats where it gets tough and the water really come into play.

Ladies European Tour is visiting in August aswell, looking forward to that :)

that 3rd green looks tough. whats the SI? Lovely Course

The index on hole 3 is 10. The green is elevated, but it aint as steep as my camera leads you into believing, thankfully :)

That is a beautiful course.

The terrain reminds me of West Virginia ...except a few more evergreens.

That, and I doubt that anyone has a suitable vehicle for the terrain we would face beyond the American coastline.

Norway is camping central, just bring a tent :)

At the moment, the sun rises at 3:55 and sets at 22:40. Golf is possible to play until midnight, tried and succeded in that venture sometime last week :)
