I joined in a game on the putting green today after playing 9 in the men's league. I saw some golf buddies playing a game on the practice green and joined a couple that kept playing after that game was over.

The game was simple...leader picks a hole...3 points if you make it, 2 points for closest, and 1 point for second closest. You play to 7 points or more...you have to win by at least 2 points.

You don't putt out...just the first putt. You can hit another golf ball to get yours closer.

I won 2 out of 3 games. Both of the games that I won ended with me making the long putt. The last game's final scores were 14, 12, and 11...very close game hehe.

Prize money was huge. I think I won over $1.

No doubt, those two guys will want another chance and the rest of the group will want to show that they can beat me hehe.

It's great practice, too. Having someone else pick the holes usually is very good practice and the putts are usually tough ones.

I forgot to mention that we were playing during a storm. Very windy hehe. It was starting to rain a little and I thought it was going to be a Caddie Shack moment with some serious competition hehe. That last game was fun and very long.

That's too easy, the one we play is a variation of that game. Everyone putts ou. If you make it you get two points and the closest gets one, but if you make the putt and another makes the putt, he takes your two points and wins another two points for his one putt. The hook is, if you're short, you drop one club length back from your original putt. It good practice to get your putts to the hole or get punished. Oh, also if you one putt when you have six points you go back to one.
