I love golf. I love playing it, watching it, reading about it, practicing it, thinking about it. I love cleaning my clubs and putting on my hallway carpet. I love swinging my momentus weighted club. I love everything about golf. The ups, the downs and every emotion in between....
That being said, I go tuesday and hopefully this STOOOOPID cast will be cut off my arm once and for all. I will have some physical therapy to regain strength and muscle mass, but atleast I'll be one step closer to teeing it up.
I was just a few good rounds away from a single digit index. Who knows how much I've lost in the past 2 months. I really don't care...If the cast comes off tuesday I should be chipping and putting by the weekend, full swings within a month...I think that's reasonable expectations.
I feel the same way! But i have a very bad back, Degenerative disk disease, Spinal Stinosis, 4 Bulging 1 Herniated disk. Nerve damage at L4, All at age 42!. My golf out look is very slim, But just love the game.
I think I love golf so much it's affecting my grades.
I bombed Biology Honours class this past year, and for about 160 of the 180 days, I sat there doodling about golf-whether it was equipment, logos, or scenes...it's all I did. Given, the teach was some poor new guy who didn't know a thing about teaching, he couldn't even hold the genius kids' attentions.
I love golf as well, even though it makes me distraught sometimes!
I love golf too. I just started playing this year and it's all I think about. Everytime I get online, I'm browsing golf sites, looking at new clubs, for tips, and pretty much just anything golf related. I'm lucky that I've got a great wife who supports my new love. Just this morning she went to the driving range with me. This is the first time she's been back to the range since I first started about 3 months ago. She commented that I'm doing much better than the first time she saw me hit and even said, "I think it's about time we get you some better clubs." So, hopefully soon, I'll be hitting something alot better than my Cougar Tour Cats.

Where in the mountain state are ya??? Yeah, it's always good to have a wife who appreciates your love of the game. When I was in the Army, I came in from a field exercise and my wife had bought me a new set of MacGregor irons...she took my old ones to the shop and had the new ones built identical...how did she know to do that??? On top of that, I had a brand new 2-ball in the bag too...I LOVE GOLF!!! (and my wife.)

I'm in Lenore, it's about an hour south of Charleston, in Mingo County. I work for the state as a correctional officer at a juvenile center in Boone County though, about 20 minutes south of Charleston.
I never thought in my life I would ever like or play golf,As a former college football offensive lineman and two time NYC track and field shotput champ, these sports were my life. After a major automobile accident that left me with a severly broken left femur and two destoyed knees,I decided to try other sports, like fishing and other activities, then a friend gave traded me a set of clubs for some old tools i had laying around,he really opened my mind about golf,as soon as i went on the course for the first time I was hooked on golf,I am not a good golfer but still love it,It is so relaxing, went out and bought some new equipment,Golf is now my favorite sport and hobby.
