I know sounds odd, but I think I may. Everytime I'm in a sports store I want to buy another dozen golfballs even though I have a few already unopened at home. Maybe this stems from the habit of needing to frequently buy balls as a beginner because I would lose them. Now I'm at the point where I only lose a couple a round, if that. Yet I still want to keep buying new golfballs.
Im the same way...actually I bought a double dozen of Slazenger Double Distance Raw's today at DSG. Although I have a dozen TM Reds and 2 sleeves of Nike Juice 312. Im going to pick up a dozen Bridgeston E6's real soon b/c I fell in love with one I found last week until I dumped it in the drink lol.
Lol............
I was used to buying some every week also due to the number of lost balls. I have been losing less lately so I feel like I'm missing something without the sidetrip for balls.
I went through the same thing. Luckily, I got over it.
Now, I'm trying to use up the dozens of golf balls that are just sitting around. Still, I find it difficult not to buy some when they're on sale at a real good price.

BTW coralpro, the aspirin doesn't help.
Actually I thought the aspirin would thin his blood and eliminate the possibility of having a heart attack from not going to the store and buying more. I don't have to worry about that fixation because my wife always comes home with a dozen now and then because she loves to shop and she figures if she gets me a dozen balls or two I won't gripe about her buying a ton of stuff she doesn't need.

Yes but the real question here; does she buy the right kind of balls? If my wife did that I'd probably end up with TopFlites or something.
