Im already stressed out over other things and just spent $60 on a worthless game that could have gone towards something I actually needed....

What things? Its not out in the UK till friday. Not sure wether to get it on the PS3 or X360 thou

Picked up the 360 version. Wayyyyyy better than '07. Graphics are better (the sand traps show rake marks and "splash " better among other things), the load times are better. It doesn't lock up like the '07 360 version. And the Tiger challenge is much better than '07. Worth $60 in my opinion.

When did it come out? I still haven't finished 07 yet which I have for the XBOX360 and PSP.

well im playing it for ps2, and graphics are same as 05, your eligible for every tournament, and your eligible to play in the fedexcup whenever you want to...It is probably better for 360 or ps3... and there are no majors...

This games quite fun actually...

I went to EB games, Target, and Best Buy expecting to see '08 for the ps3, but alas, I didnt see it in any of them, so I said **** it, ill pick up '07 because it's for the ps3 as well, I don't know exactly when '08's coming out, and golf season could be over by the time I go shopping again...

Now i'm wishing I had waited just a bit longer... I'm pretty happy with '07 though- putting's harder than in real life!

I bought this game at 12:15 am on tuesday from my local walmart, straight out of the shipping box and into my hand. Im a tiger woods game freak. I like this game alot, the game face is crazy. I thought the graphics would be a little better but us ps3 guys have to get ports from the 360. But overall it was worth every penny.

I've bought 06, 07 and sold both and went back to 05. I wish they would still have Hogan, Nicklaus, Palmer, and Player on the newer versions. I probably won't buy another Tiger Woods until I have a next gen console.

on TW '08 can you like actually play a real PGA season with a real-life player and play in actual events, like say, the Masters or the US Open? just curious cause that would be sweet if you could i might buy it then.

To advance your career you play in the FedEx cup. I don't know the schedule in the game, but I know they don't have all the events that the Pro's play at. Here's the course list for the 360:

One of the biggest they left out is Augusta.

i dont think they have the rights to augusta.

with the older versions on PC, there was a large map making community so you could play all the "biggies" like augusta, etc. that werent included stock in the game

I personally love the game,good look,good feel,i find it harder.But how hard is it to get rights to augusta?Does anyone have it for 360?And xbox live,if so i vote we start a lil league?Eh anyone with me
