John Daly

Maybe this is a repost, however was anybody out there dissapointed in the interview the golf channel did with John Daly a few months ago? I know I was. I can't stand Rich Lerner.

Re: John Daly

If big John would concentrate fully on his golf game, give up the booze, fast food and those worthless, trashy, golddigger women he seems to prefer, he just might turn out to be one of the top pros the the world. But I have a feeling, that's just wishful thinking on my part. I love the guy, but have my doubts he will ever be in total control of himself. He seems to have little personal discipline.

What...do you give up in the middle of a round if it isn't working out? Do you hit into the group in front of you if they are playing slowly? Or do you just grip it and rip it regardless of the course layout, flinging caution and good game management to the wind?

Not a fan.

He's the underdog, someone who has natural ability but can't get his head straightened out to take advantage of it because he's dealing with (or more precisely not dealing with) many personal problems that many of us common folk have also dealt with at one point or another in our lives.

Re: John Daly

He's a self centered jerk who seems to make more than his share of poor decisions on and off the course...

Sorry, feel that you need a language lesson, goes for all you people that say it too....

It's not I seen him, but rather I saw him

Its not when I seen him, but rather When I saw him

Do you notice it does not sound right?

i means really, there ain'ts no reason for this...

seriously though...who cares about how people say what they say? this isn't the first time that i have seen a post like this and honestly i find them completely irratating. there is no reason to be correcting other people's grammar when used in an informal manner. i mean, if you were grading his term paper, well then, sure that would be fine. but on a golf forum? either your being mean or your trying to be funny. if it is the latter then i say you should really make your jokes a bit more clear, because i really didn't get that one. if, on the other hand, it is the former, i take pitty on thee, and suggest you find other hobbies to occupy your time. regardless of your intent, you are degrading the "conversation" we are all having and creating a sense of verbal paranoia. no one should think twice about posting, atleast not on account of their grammar and or spelling (unless it's to a degree that actually detracts from what they're tying to say. in which case, yeah, get a dictionary or something.)

so i say shame on you, you grammar nazi.

uh-oh, i didn't capitalize properly (gasp)...
