A Great Day

My wife very seldom accompanies to the course. She doesn't play, but today was my birthday, and it was a perfect day.

We walked the course together, and she complimented me on good shots and often reminded me to focus on the shot. As a result, I shot one of my best scores - a 45 on the front nine and a 46 on the back.

My wife is wonderful. Someday, I'll get her to hit a few balls with me, if the course is slow. She could putt and chip, and I think she would enjoy that.

My club used to have a competition for a golfer and a non golfer in a team. The golfer would play up to the green or just of it,then the non golfer would finish off the hole pitching, putting etc. Was one of my favourite competitions and got my wife to myself for a few hours great day out no matter the weather.

Thanks, Shade & Merlin, & I love the idea of my wife finishing the hole!
