Okay, lets say you where supposed to be in a Tournament that had a rule that you can only put 5 clubs in your bag, including your putter, which clubs what that be?
And how much from your average score would you think you would drop with this set?
It does sound interesting. Who might be up for a USA vs ROW tourney using this setup come spring? If there are enough people up for it, we'll try a "practice" tournament before winter comes... Kinda give us something to have fun with. Who would be in? PM me and let me know.
*Note, I won't be answering the PMs, but I'll post a sticky with the names in the General Golf Discussion section if there are enough who want to give it a go.*
I have never played in a tournament, and I would be bringing other clubs if I was just playing for fun, but given that score matters, I would take these:

5-wood: Same carry as DI, but sticks, and is easier to use from the fairway
6 iron: My favorite
Pitching wedge: My favorite short club
Putter: Since we are allowed the luxury of 5 clubs, I might as well bring it....
I played in one of those once....I took a 3 wood, 4 iron, 7 iron, sand wedge, and putter. It was a lot of fun and the scores weren't any different from normal.
After dedicating a practice session to the First ever Golf Rewind 5 club tournament (which I have not signed up for yet, because I do not know yet how my schedule will work out) I have decided to change my 5-club bag to:
