Perfect Day for Golf

Today was a perfect day on the course. Autumn has finally arrived in Connecticut, the leaves are starting to turn beautiful colors and the sky was blue. It was about 58-60 degress and I know those of you in the South won't understand, but nothing beats golfing in sweater weather for me. And the best part was that I played well. So - what was your day on the course like?

Re: Perfect Day for Golf

It was a similarly beautiful day here in MA. No round of golf for me, but I had my best practice session of the year, by far: I am looking forward to next season already! I went in short-sleeves, which was borderline comfortable, but of course my practice didn't last 4.5 hours!!

perfect weather over the pond in england today, lovely autumn day around 60 degrees, very little wind and a half decent round of golf to top it off.Played in a doubles comp at my local course (Bedlingtonshire) and we had 43 points.

Re: Perfect Day for Golf

It was a beautiful weekend in South Carolina as well. Hi of 80, low in upper 50’s, and a big drop in humidity. Yesterday started with a nice brisk boat ride at daylight on Lake Russell for some spotted bass on top. Today ended with 18 holes in perfect conditions on the shores of Lake Greenwood. Life is Good.

I played in South Eastern CT on Saturday and then I played in my company's scramble tourney in Southwick MA on Sunday. Both days were beautiful. Perfect weather for golf.

It was beautiful in VA this weekend. Played on my '"home" course Sat and had my round ever there. I love the fall. You can play 18 in short sleeves and be neither hot or cold. Loved it.

I miss this time of year back east in the states...the weeks beginning the last week of September until just before Halloween are consistenly the best weather of the year...jealous for all of you guys as today was another in a long row of blistering hot 33* humid as being under sweaty water days that we get as a rule here...
